Her Interview

Ten minutes with Vonda

01What do you attribute your success to?

I was raised by a single parent. She always said that, The more you give, the more he gives to you. She would always say Don't burn bridges. Don't burn the bridge you may have to cross again. Treat people the way that you want to be treated back. And she said, I promise you, everything will fall in place. That's what I'm doing. That's what I've been doing.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Keep God first and watch all doors 🚪 open.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be yourself and know that God see you first.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Finding a balance and purpose.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I got to keep God first. Most important thing. Moving on his timing and not mine. Patience. My kids, or my grandchild, or my, you know, my husband next time. I had to work on my patience.
