Walquiria Cassini
Walquiria Cassini is a licensed medical sonographer, MR Fusion specialist, sales associate, and entrepreneur with more than 13 years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography. A first generation Brazilian American, she has built a highly respected career specializing in urology, male sexual dysfunction, and reproductive health. She holds ARDMS credentials and is an active member of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Walquiria is recognized for delivering culturally competent care and for her ability to communicate complex medical information with clarity and professionalism across diverse patient populations.
Throughout her career, Walquiria has demonstrated advanced clinical expertise in urologic imaging and innovative treatment support, including penile Doppler ultrasound, prostate imaging, and MR fusion guided procedures for the detection of prostate cancer. Her experience includes supporting therapies for erectile dysfunction and Peyronie’s disease, as well as working alongside physicians in biologics and regenerative medicine. She has practiced across a broad range of healthcare environments, including hospitals, surgery centers, concierge practices, private offices, interventional radiology departments, and medical spas. In her role as an MR Fusion Specialist with United Medical Systems, she assists in MR fusion guided prostate biopsies using advanced imaging systems, contributing to accurate diagnostics, efficient patient flow, and consistently high clinical outcomes through close collaboration with physicians and radiologists.
In addition to her clinical leadership, Walquiria brings a strong business and entrepreneurial mindset to her work. She is the founder and owner of E D Imaging, a mobile diagnostic imaging service focused on advanced urologic ultrasound, where she oversees clinical operations, compliance, and strategic growth. She has also applied her operational expertise to successfully establish and manage a separate service based business, demonstrating versatility beyond healthcare. Known for her resilience, consistency, and dedication, Walquiria is driven by a deep commitment to patient centered care, professional excellence, and continuous growth. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience, determination, and a genuine passion for helping others. My journey into healthcare was inspired by a deeply personal experience—when my son became critically ill with RSV as an infant and was admitted to the ICU. That moment led me to change my career path from business to healthcare, even though I had no prior experience in the field. I intentionally started at the ground level as a medical assistant so I could build a strong foundation and truly understand patient care. Through dedication and continuous learning, I advanced my skills, invested in my own ultrasound machine by the age of 25, and traveled extensively to obtain licensure and hands-on experience. This commitment allowed me to progress into specialized ultrasound services for men’s sexual health. At the core of my success is my love for helping people, coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset that also led me to build and operate a successful pool cleaning business alongside my healthcare career.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that you can learn almost anything simply by talking to people. Meaningful conversations open doors to knowledge, opportunities, and perspectives you can’t always find in books or training alone. By asking questions, listening with curiosity, and building genuine connections, you gain insight, guidance, and understanding that can shape both your professional growth and personal success.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are balance, family, and staying active and present. I value dedicating myself fully to my work while also making time for what keeps me grounded and fulfilled. Spending quality time with my family, traveling together, and enjoying the beach are essential to my well-being, as they allow me to recharge and create meaningful memories. I also value teamwork, discipline, and perseverance qualities I’ve developed through my love of softball which continue to shape how I approach both my career and my personal life.
