About Wanda
Wanda Dillard, RRT, MS, is a community engagement and DEI executive with 20+ years of experience building programs, partnerships, and philanthropic support that advance health equity. Retired from The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, she led operations, education, and community initiatives focused on women’s equity and marginalized BIPOC communities, including models for free clinics and pathway programs, and services addressing social determinants of health.
A founding member of the Ohio Institute of People of Color, Wanda serves on multiple nonprofit boards and advises healthcare organizations locally and nationally. Her work has been published and cited, and she has received numerous honors for reducing barriers to care. She also retired as a Major in the Army National Guard and was inducted into the Ohio Veteran Hall of Fame (Class of 2021).
