Wanda Rogers: Speaker: Wanda L. Rogers, Owner, Construction Service Workers LLCWhat does being an Influential Woman mean to you?Wanda L. Rogers: Influential woman means using my experiences, leadership, and voice to create opportunities and inspire positive change in the lives of others. Influence is not about titles, recognition, or personal achievement. It is about the impact you have on people and the difference you make in your community. For me, being an influential woman means leading with integrity, purpose, and compassion. It means showing up authentically, overcoming challenges with resilience, and demonstrating that success. Is possible regardless of whether you start. I believe influence comes from serving others, building meaningful relationships, and creating pathways for people to reach their full potential. As a business owner and community advocate. I have dedicated my career to helping individuals access employment opportunities, supporting business growth, and strengthening communities through collaboration and economic empowerment. The greatest reward is seeing others succeed and knowing that I play a role in helping them achieve their goals. I also believe that influential women have a responsibility to uplift and support the next generation by sharing our stories, lessons learned, and experiences. We can encourage other women to pursue their ambitions, embrace leadership opportunities, and recognize their own potential. Ultimately, being an influential woman means leaving a legacy of service, empowerment, and impact. It means using your success not only to advance yourself, but to open doors for others and create lasting change that extends far beyond your own accomplishments. What's one piece of advice you would give to younger women chasing their dreams?Wanda L. Rogers: Give to younger women, women chasing their dreams, is to believe in yourself before anyone else does. There will be times when people question your vision, your abilities, or your potential. Don't allow their doubts to become your limitations. Be willing to take risks, embrace challenges, and keep moving forward even when the path is uncertain. Success rarely happens overnight. It requires patience, hard work, resilience, and a willingness to learn from both successes and failure. I would also encourage young women to find their niche, and focus on what makes, makes them unique. When you discover your strengths, and align them with your passions and purpose, you create opportunities that are authentic and meaningful. Most importantly, don't wait for the perfect moment. Start where you are. Use what you have and continue building towards your goals. Every step forward, no matter how small, brings you closer to the future. Your vision for yourself. Your dreams are valid. Your voice matters, and your potential is far greater than you may realize. Trust the process. Stay committed to your goals, and never stop believing in what is possible. So to someone who says.
