Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to having a clear sense of purpose—my “why.” I’ve always been driven by a desire to help others while also creating a life that allows me to be present for my family. Making the transition from a corporate career gave me the flexibility to support a growing, multi-generational household while also improving our financial stability. Being able to provide for my family and stay actively involved in their lives motivates me every day and keeps me genuinely excited about the work I do.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my coach, who challenged me with a simple but powerful question: if others trust me to run their multi-million-dollar companies, why wasn’t I trusting myself to do the same for my own future? That moment pushed me to reflect on what was holding me back and ultimately gave me the confidence to move forward. I chose to believe in myself, committed to the next step, and within two weeks, I had launched into a new career path. That single piece of advice completely changed my trajectory and had a lasting impact on my life.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this field is to stay coachable. Even after many years in the industry, I continue to seek guidance, invest in my education, and learn from other professionals so I can better serve my clients. You’ll never know everything, and every person you work with will bring unique circumstances and perspectives. Staying open, continuing to grow, and truly listening are essential to making a meaningful impact and building long-term success.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in my field right now is the growing number of individuals who feel dissatisfied in their careers, have been laid off, or are navigating constant organizational changes. I’m able to serve as a valuable resource for them during these transitions. However, a key challenge is that many people are simply unaware that this kind of support exists or that my services are available to them at no cost. It creates a double-edged sword—there is a significant need, but limited awareness. Because of that, I focus on consistently putting myself out there, trusting that I’ll connect with the right people and help them move forward in their careers.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that matter most to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, active listening, and generosity. I believe strongly in ensuring that the people I support have all the information they need to make informed decisions, and I expect honesty and transparency throughout the entire process. I also place great importance on truly listening—being present and engaged—because meaningful conversations are often lost in today’s fast-paced, technology-driven world. Lastly, I value giving and supporting others wholeheartedly. I believe that when you act with genuine intention and care, it not only helps others on their journey but ultimately comes back in meaningful ways.
