Her Story
About Wendy
I started out as a surgical tech and really loved being in surgery because you could see immediate results, which piqued my interest to grow and go back to school to be an RN and get my BSN. I progressed within the company, taking on more influence to help others. Now I'm the director over the surgery center and run two offices, managing staff, operations, sterile processing, materials management, pre-op, PACU, surgical area, front desk, billing, and I still scrub in and circulate in surgeries to stay hands-on with patients. My focus includes orthopedic procedures and interventional pain management like SCS trials and fusions, inspired by helping my mother with cancer pain through injections so she could have quality time with family without narcotics.
