About Wendy

Wendy Mark is the Vice President of Education at Junior Achievement of Greater Cleveland, where she has served for four and a half years. In her role, she focuses on strategic coordination to help school districts improve report card scores and meet graduation requirements through experiential learning programs in entrepreneurial mindset, work and career readiness, and financial literacy. Mark's path to this position began after leaving a prior nonprofit role and connecting with a colleague who recommended her for the opportunity at Junior Achievement. She holds a bachelor's degree from Winona State University in Minnesota, where she competed on the gymnastics team, following an initial year at Western Michigan University. She later earned a master's degree in exercise physiology from Northeastern Illinois University while working in cardiac rehab. Mark is passionate about mentoring and has supported young adults through her involvement with Community of Hope, helping those who have aged out of the foster care system, as well as programming with Towards Employment to assist previously incarcerated individuals. She advises young women entering the field to strive to be one step better each day, remain forward-thinking in their learning, and seek opportunities to lead and innovate regardless of title.
