Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the people who have shaped my journey and to a commitment to understanding and developing talent. As Head of Human Resources for Palm House, a boutique luxury property in Palm Beach, my role goes far beyond policies and payroll. Human resources, at its core, is about human capital—listening, guiding, and advocating to create environments where individuals can thrive with dignity and excellence. While I have overseen every aspect of HR, from recruiting and training to compliance and benefits, the most meaningful work has always been building relationships and supporting people.

My path has not been linear. I was educated at Lewant Academy, pursued travel and tourism in New York City, earned my bachelor’s degree through Ashford University, and later specialized in human resources at Florida Atlantic University. I also completed a two-year residency program that profoundly shaped my professional and personal perspective. For me, education has never been about speed; it has always been about depth. I believe in truly mastering your craft, even if it takes time, because that depth is what enables meaningful impact.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received came from a mentor who taught me a lesson that continues to guide me: discipline and consistency outperform talent when talent is undisciplined. These principles shape how I lead at work, how I parent, how I serve my community, and how I show up each day.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

If there is one piece of advice I share often, especially with my nieces and young women, it is this: choose a field you are truly passionate about, commit to learning it deeply, stay authentic, and never stop growing.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Beyond my corporate leadership roles, service has always been the cornerstone of my life. I am deeply committed to non-profit work, including my involvement with the Young and Faith Partnership, where I speak to high school students, especially young women, about purpose, discipline, and self-worth. In my church community, I serve as a Sunday school teacher for middle school girls, drawing on my ongoing studies in theology and psychology to support them through these formative years. For me, mentorship is not a title but a daily commitment. Born in the Dominican Republic and professionally certified in Spain, I have gained a broad understanding of culture, people, and leadership. My passion for food and travel is more than indulgence; it is an avenue for learning, offering insights into humanity, resilience, and the power of connection.
