About Wendy
She is an accomplished education consultant and enrollment leader with over a decade of experience in admissions, financial aid, and school community building, currently serving as Co-President of School First Education Consulting, where she works with families to help them find the best school for each child, preschool through college, and consults with independent schools to advance diversity, inclusion, and healthy community cultures. Prior to this role, she spent nine years at National Cathedral School, serving as Director of Enrollment and Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, where she built diverse, strong, and healthy communities through strategic cultural shifts, connections, and data-driven empathy. She also served as Assistant Director of Admissions and Financial Aid at Sidwell Friends School and as a Board Member for Excel Academy and Cesar Chavez Public Charter Schools. She holds a Master of Education in Educational Counseling from the University of San Francisco and a BA in Psychology from the University of San Diego. She is recognized as a strategic, empathetic, and mission-driven leader who is deeply committed to expanding access to quality education, building inclusive communities, and guiding families through transformative educational journeys.
