Weronika Bianka Nowak is the Deputy Country Manager at Greenvolt Power USA Inc., a prominent leader in the global solar, wind, and battery storage industry. With over 3½ years of experience in the U.S. market, she is responsible for overseeing the full development and progression of renewable energy projects, ensuring operational excellence, strategic growth, and sustainable impact. A key milestone in her career has been establishing Greenvolt Power’s U.S. operations, where she was the very first employee, laying the foundation for the company’s expansion and playing a central role in shaping its long-term strategy and presence in the American market.
Weronika’s entry into the renewable energy sector was inspired by her father, an entrepreneur whose work ethic and business acumen motivated her to follow in his footsteps. Throughout her career, she has combined technical expertise with strategic leadership, gaining invaluable experience in project management, business development, and wind and solar operations. Prior to her current role, she held positions at Aeva Labs, Geo Renewables, and SouthCoast Wind, where she contributed to project acquisition, construction management, and asset performance analysis. This diverse background enables her to effectively lead complex projects while driving innovation and fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (2019) and a Master of Business Administration (2024), demonstrating a strong balance of technical and business acumen. Committed to advancing diversity in the renewable energy sector, Weronika is an active member of WRISE (Women in Renewable Industry and Sustainable Energy) and serves as a mentor for WCS (Women in Clean Tech & Sustainability program), supporting the development of the next generation of industry leaders. Fluent in English and Polish, she is recognized for her leadership, strategic vision, and dedication to building sustainable, impactful solutions for communities while fostering meaningful relationships within the global energy sector.

I attribute my success to hard work and dedication. From establishing the U.S. operations in the global solar, wind, and battery storage industry to overseeing complex projects, I have always committed myself fully to every challenge. I believe that persistence, focus, and a willingness to learn from every experience have been key drivers in achieving my goals and growing both personally and professionally.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to always stay focused and do what is right for myself. I’ve found that maintaining clarity on my goals and making decisions aligned with my values has guided me through challenges and helped me achieve meaningful growth in my career.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the renewable energy industry is that it can be challenging and isn’t for everyone, but if it’s truly what you want, it’s worth persevering through the highs and lows. Staying committed, resilient, and focused on your goals will ultimately lead to a rewarding and fulfilling career.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in the renewable energy industry right now is navigating administrative and regulatory frameworks that don’t always align with the needs of the sector. At the same time, this presents opportunities for innovation, advocacy, and leadership in shaping policies that support sustainable energy growth.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are building and nurturing strong relationships. I believe that meaningful connections with colleagues, mentors, and peers are the foundation for collaboration, growth, and long-term success.
