Whitney Little
Whitney Little is the founder of Whitney Little Styling and the familiar face behind Your Southern Stylist. She empowers women to simplify their style, elevate their everyday wardrobes, and confidently embrace new seasons of life. Through both virtual and in-person services, Whitney curates complete outfits, intentional buy lists, and smart wardrobe foundations tailored to each client’s shape, schedule, and goals.
Her professional journey has always been rooted in helping women feel their best. Before launching her business, Whitney earned degrees in kinesiology and physical therapy and worked in a rewarding medical career but like many of the women she serves, she reached a turning point and stepped into the work she was meant to do, transforming her lifelong passion for style into her full-time purpose. She also spent years as a Senior Stylist with Stitch Fix, an experience that fueled her passion for personal styling and ultimately propelled her to launch her own business.
After 18 years as a military spouse, Whitney deeply understands the demands, transitions, and reinventions women face. She believes style should support who you’re becoming, not just what you wear. Her purpose is to help women show up beautifully and confidently, fully themselves in every moment.

What do you attribute your success to?
My success is rooted in both legacy and purpose. My father taught me the power of showing up, his sense of style, confidence, and the powerful way he expressed himself without saying a word made a lasting impact on me. That early influence, combined with years of perseverance, professional growth, and a deep commitment to helping women feel prepared for life’s big moments, has shaped the stylist and business owner I am today.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is simple but powerful: show up, stay consistent and don't quit before the breakthrough. Success doesn’t happen overnight, it’s built in the quiet moments of perseverance, choosing to keep going even when the path isn’t clear. Trusting the process, being present, and putting in the work day after day have been key to my growth as a stylist and an entrepreneur.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Believe in your vision even before it makes sense to everyone else. Personal styling is an industry built on relationships, trust, and creativity and there’s room for your unique voice. I never imagined I could build a virtual styling business, especially when it wasn’t widely practiced, but saying yes to one opportunity changed everything. Start where you are, keep learning, nurture your clients, and stay true to the kind of stylist you want to become. Confidence grows with experience but it begins with courage.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are service, authenticity, and resilience. I believe in showing up fully for my clients, my family, and my community with honesty, empathy, and intention. As a mother of three and a military spouse, I’ve learned that life is full of transitions, and how we navigate those moments matters. I approach my work with dedication and heart, empowering women to feel prepared for the seasons ahead while staying grounded in who they are. Being present, leading with integrity, and treating people with kindness guide every role I take on.
