About Wissal
I graduated with a bachelor's degree from the College of Staten Island. After that, I started working at Sofitel Hotel as accounts payable and receivable coordinator. Then I joined Gentle Funds, a private equity firm, where I worked with senior management preparing financials for investors. Now at Alas Power, I began as an associate in accounting, was promoted to staff, and am now a senior on the team. I prepare and review financials, help coordinate workflows, hire new people, and focus on training and mentoring.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my commitment and setting short-term and long-term goals. I post reminders and positive affirmations everywhere, like in the kitchen, to keep myself motivated when things get hard.
