About Yamilette

Yamilette Alonso is an experienced Firm Administrator in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale legal market, currently overseeing operations for Perlman, Bajandas, Yevoli & Albright, P.L. In this role, she manages the day-to-day administrative functions across the firm’s Coral Gables and Fort Lauderdale offices, supporting approximately 30 employees and ensuring that both attorneys and staff operate within a structured, efficient, and well-supported environment. She is recognized for her leadership in maintaining operational stability while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

She has built a career in the legal field spanning more than 25 years, beginning in her early twenties with aspirations of becoming an attorney. She entered the profession as a secretary and steadily advanced through the legal support ranks, including extensive experience as a paralegal. Over the years, she benefited from strong mentorship that helped shape her understanding of law firm operations and client service. After decades in paralegal roles, she transitioned into legal administration about five years ago, finding greater alignment with her strengths and passion for organizational leadership and firm management.

Today, she plays a central role in overseeing firm operations, including payroll, hiring and onboarding, vendor management, facilities and building oversight, tenant relations, and day-to-day employee support. She also works closely with attorneys to resolve operational needs, coordinate coverage, and ensure the office runs smoothly at all times. In addition, she prioritizes staff engagement and workplace morale, helping to cultivate camaraderie and support across teams. Having reached her long-term professional goal of becoming a firm administrator, she continues to focus on sustaining an efficient, well-run firm where both employees and leadership can thrive.
