Yanice Picone

Yanice Picone serves as HR Director for the Orthopedics Division of Conmed, where she has led human resources for five years while also overseeing HR integration for the acquired Foot and Ankle Division and briefly supporting Latin America as an HR business partner. Her career began in 2005 in agricultural manufacturing, progressing rapidly from administrative assistant to HR coordinator and then HR supervisor at a 4,000-employee site. In 2008 she joined Stryker in Puerto Rico as an HR business partner, advancing through multiple roles before relocating to Texas as an HR manager for a commercial unit, leading merger and acquisition integrations in Mexico, and serving as senior HR manager in Florida to transform a manufacturing site into a high-performing organization over four years. A generalist by expertise, Picone dedicates significant time to leadership development, executive coaching (including implementing an internal program), recruitment, performance management, and organizational strategy to support business growth and talent retention. She earned a bachelor's degree in religion and holds certifications as a Strength Finders Coach through Gallup along with completion of the Gallup Grade Managers Program; she is currently pursuing ICF Executive Coaching certification. Picone received three global awards at Stryker for people development and financial results, along with local site awards and a nomination as one of Conmed's top professional leaders. Outside her professional role, she is an active church member serving as a prayer resource and leads the OASIS Ministry, organizing one-day retreats for breast cancer survivors.
