Ten minutes with Yara
01What do you attribute your success to?
I would attribute it to a great work ethic. I am a very persevering person, very meticulous in my work, conscientious, very visionary. I see where the trends tend to be or will be and I am able to capture the deficit in society. I am also very assertive without being aggressive, and a very passionate person. When I work, I am very passionate about what I do, very disciplined, and a great team player and leader. I tend to inspire people because I give people a chance.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say to her to look within and try to identify what she enjoys doing, what areas or disciplines interest her, what skills she has. Take a piece of paper and write down her strengths, the pros, and focus on what she likes and what she sees herself as, and the things that drive interest in her, that drive her passion. Shout out all the voices around her, what people want her to do, expectations, and just listen and contemplate and peacefully look within and try to find out what she really likes.
