Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the unwavering support of my family, whose encouragement has been the foundation of my journey. From the very beginning, they instilled in me the values of perseverance, integrity, and resilience, reminding me that I could achieve anything with hard work and dedication. Their belief in me gave me the confidence to embrace challenges and transform obstacles into opportunities for growth. Whether celebrating milestones or providing strength during difficult times, my family’s guidance and love have kept me grounded and motivated. I firmly believe that their constant support has not only shaped the professional I am today but also fuels my ongoing commitment to excellence and service in the legal field.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the legal industry is to be intentional about building relationships and seeking guidance. Find a mentor within your firm who can help you navigate the culture and expectations, but also connect with a mentor outside your firm who can give you a broader perspective and unbiased advice. Don’t underestimate the power of networking—get involved in professional associations, legal organizations, and community groups that align with your practice area. And most importantly, spend time in court and get to know the judges. Understanding their preferences and expectations will not only strengthen your advocacy but also help you build credibility early in your career.
