Her Story
About Yasmin
Yasmin is the Founder and Digital PR Specialist of Yasmin Digital PR, a specialized agency helping high-growth B2B SaaS and AI startups secure high-authority media placements, press mentions, and thought leadership opportunities. Based in Lahore, Pakistan, she built her business entirely from home as a self-taught entrepreneur, using the internet, generative AI, and independent learning to develop expertise in digital public relations, media pitching, and global outreach. With no prior corporate employment or formal business background, Yasmin entered the professional world at 39 and transformed a blank slate into a growing global micro-agency.
Her entrepreneurial journey was shaped by profound personal challenges, including the loss of her father in 2007 and, more recently, the passing of her husband in April 2026. As a solo mother raising four children, Yasmin faced the responsibility of building financial stability while navigating significant personal and cultural constraints. Rather than allowing these circumstances to define her future, she turned her laptop into her classroom and taught herself the skills necessary to launch her agency. Between August and late September 2026, she independently executed approximately 125 to nearly 200 strategic media pitches in a single month, helping international technology clients expand their digital visibility and reach.
Yasmin approaches leadership with radical accountability, empathy, resilience, and relentless execution. Her agency has developed client-focused, risk-free publishing models, including money-back guarantees, designed to build trust with technology founders seeking meaningful media exposure. Looking ahead, she plans to expand Yasmin Digital PR's partnerships with scaling AI and B2B SaaS companies worldwide while developing her personal brand and inspiring other women to pursue new beginnings. For Yasmin, success means creating a secure and loving future for her children, honoring the people she has lost, and demonstrating through her own journey that determination and self-directed learning can open new possibilities even in the most difficult circumstances.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Yasmin
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience, self-discipline, continuous learning, and an unwavering commitment to moving forward, even during the most difficult moments of my life. When circumstances challenged me, I chose to focus on creating a better future for my children rather than allowing adversity to define me. Through self-directed learning, the internet, and generative AI, I developed the skills needed to build my business from the ground up. My children remain my greatest motivation, inspiring me to keep learning, growing, and showing up every day. I believe true success comes from taking responsibility for your future, remaining consistent through challenges, and having the courage to begin again.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is to never let my circumstances, lack of experience, or difficult beginnings determine what I am capable of achieving. I learned that I should be willing to teach myself, take initiative, and start before I feel completely ready. Progress comes from consistent action, learning from challenges, and refusing to give up when the path becomes difficult. Most importantly, I have learned to trust my ability to grow and create opportunities rather than waiting for someone else to give me a chance.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the digital PR industry is to believe in their ability to learn, adapt, and create opportunities for themselves. Do not let a lack of experience or fear of failure prevent you from getting started. Invest in continuous learning, stay current with technology and AI, build genuine relationships, and consistently deliver value to your clients. Most importantly, be patient with your growth, remain confident in your voice, and remember that your starting point does not determine your destination.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in digital PR today is standing out in an increasingly crowded media landscape while earning genuine credibility and attention for clients. At the same time, the growth of AI and digital platforms presents significant opportunities to work more efficiently, identify new media opportunities, and help B2B SaaS and technology startups build stronger global visibility. I believe the key is to use AI as a powerful tool while maintaining a human-centered approach to storytelling, relationships, and strategic communication.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are resilience, integrity, accountability, empathy, and family. I believe in taking responsibility for my actions, treating people with honesty and respect, and following through on my commitments, even when circumstances are challenging. In both my work and personal life, I strive to remain compassionate, dependable, and open to learning. Above all, my children inspire me to lead by example, work with purpose, and continue growing while staying true to my principles.
