About Yasmine
Yasmine Chinnery serves as a Senior Client Support Specialist at SeatGeek, specializing in sports ticketing and client support for Tier 1 clients including NFL, NBA, and MLS teams. In this role, she builds strong relationships with clients, develops product adoption strategies, and assists with day-to-day operations and event sales on the platform. Chinnery graduated from Johnson C. Smith University in 2012 with a degree in sports management after being inspired by the film Jerry Maguire to pursue a career in the sports industry. Her professional journey began with NASCAR at Charlotte Motor Speedway, followed by work with NFL teams at Ticketmaster, leading to her current position where she was promoted to senior within her first two years. Among her notable accomplishments are supporting Super Bowl 53 and 54 as well as the 2022 NBA All-Star game in Cleveland, Ohio. She also received a project management certification and was recognized in her college's 40 Under 40 class of 2024. Chinnery is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and advises young women entering the industry to keep going, avoid discouragement, and speak up even when they are the only female in the room.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Keep going, do not get discouraged. It is going to take time. You have to crawl before you walk. Put one foot in front of the other, and sometimes you might be the only female in the room, and that's okay. Just make sure to remember to speak up.
