Yasmine Ghazvini, MHA, LSSBB, is a healthcare administration and strategy professional with six years of experience driving strategic growth, operational improvement, and initiatives that advance patient-centered care. She began her healthcare career after earning her Master of Health Administration (MHA) from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2021. Yasmine started her professional journey at Providence, where she gained valuable experience in healthcare network operations and program management, supporting a neuroscience program and collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to improve processes, enhance coordination, and support quality healthcare delivery.

Yasmine continued to expand her expertise at MemorialCare, where she first supported strategic initiatives at the Long Beach campus before transitioning into a system-wide strategy and business development role. There, she contributed to service line planning, market intelligence, organizational growth initiatives, and data-informed strategies designed to strengthen healthcare operations and improve access to care. Currently, Yasmine serves in the Strategic Services department at UCI Health, supporting strategic growth opportunities, including the expansion of clinically integrated networks and providing actionable insights to organizational leaders. Her areas of expertise include healthcare strategy, business development, operations, strategic planning, and performance improvement.

In addition to her professional work, Yasmine is passionate about healthcare leadership, mentorship, and supporting the development of future healthcare professionals. 01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to perseverance, determination, and a strong commitment to continuous growth. I have consistently pursued opportunities to learn, overcome challenges, and improve both personally and professionally. Building meaningful relationships with mentors and colleagues has also been instrumental in my journey, providing valuable guidance, collaboration, and support that have helped shape my career and success.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to remain open-minded, adaptable, and willing to embrace new opportunities. Growth often comes from taking calculated risks, stepping outside of your comfort zone, and being open to change. Perseverance, resilience, and a willingness to continuously learn are essential qualities that can help build confidence, create opportunities, and achieve long-term success.

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are perseverance, continuous growth, faith, integrity, and honesty. I believe in remaining committed through challenges, embracing opportunities to learn, and striving to make a meaningful impact. In my professional work, especially in patient care, I value compassion, accountability, and doing what is right to positively influence the lives of others and contribute to better outcomes.
