About Yiafia
Yiafia is a certified vehicle wrap and window tint installer with a passion for helping businesses transform their vehicles into effective mobile advertisements. She currently works at Mavis Tires and Brakes in Spring, Texas, where she specializes in full vehicle wraps, vinyl applications, window tinting, and precision trim work. Through her hands-on expertise and commitment to quality craftsmanship, she creates customized solutions that enhance both the appearance and branding potential of every vehicle she works on.
Throughout her career, Yiafia has combined formal education, practical training, and continuous learning to build her expertise. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pine Manor College and further developed her technical skills through an apprenticeship with an experienced vinyl installer, mastering a variety of vinyl materials, tinting techniques, and installation methods. Her entrepreneurial spirit is reflected in her leadership of Yaya Wrapped It LLC, where she provides commercial fleet branding, vehicle wraps, and window tinting services while drawing on her customer service experience to deliver outstanding results for clients.
Committed to both professional excellence and community involvement, Yiafia embraces a hands-on approach to learning and continually expands her knowledge through industry training, including coursework in Identity and Access Management. She credits her success to hard work, consistency, creative thinking, and effective communication, as well as the support of her partner. Outside of her professional work, she teaches business and entrepreneurship classes at her daughter's school, encouraging young students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and pursue their goals with confidence.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my partner, hard work & consistency. Knowing that I couldn't get no lower than where I was. Had to do something to pull myself up. I also give it to my partner... my partnership with my wife is very important.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received is that it's not about how or what you post—it's about the people your message attracts. I've also learned that every person you meet has a purpose in your journey. Every customer I've had the opportunity to work with has brought valuable lessons, meaningful connections, or new opportunities, reinforcing my belief that the relationships we build often have a lasting impact on both our personal and professional growth.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Keep going and don't let anyone stop you. When you think you can, you can. It doesn't matter if its today, tomorrow or three weeks from now. Just don't stop. Keep trying, and no matter how hard it gets, keep trying. The industry is always gonna push us out because we're not welcome. The way that we make our stand is to keep going.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges right now are building clientele, selling yourself and advertising. Selling yourself. Letting them know that you can do something better than the next person.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are thinking outside the box, effective communication, and appreciating each day as a blessing. I believe creativity and an open mind help me find innovative solutions, while clear communication strengthens relationships and builds trust. Above all, I approach every day with gratitude, recognizing that each new day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and make a positive impact.
