I also enjoy giving back by mentoring others through my roles on the Buckeye DAMA board and at Breakthrough T1D, helping people understand data and project management concepts.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The most valuable career advice I’ve received is to continually invest in learning, remain adaptable, and leverage both technical and interpersonal skills to create meaningful impact in any organization.

For young women entering this field, I emphasize patience, strong listening skills, curiosity, and the importance of challenging ideas to drive better organizational outcomes.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

A significant opportunity in my field is advancing data governance programs that enable organizations to leverage their data for strategic decision-making.
