About Yulonda

Yulonda Burris has over 18 years of experience in human resources consulting. She entered the field after working in e-commerce at Bank of America when the organization recruited her for a program and project manager role on a small team managing the Global Diversity and Inclusion Council chaired by Brian Moynihan. She later held roles at organizations including ABM Industries where she led DEI efforts that resulted in the company achieving noteworthy status on the Diversity Inc. Top 50 Survey. Burris now leads Culture Works Advisory Group, her own consulting firm focused on diagnosing culture friction and helping organizations transform their cultures by evolving systems and processes. She holds an undergraduate degree in communication and public relations as well as a master's degree in project management. Her professional achievements include building Bank of America's first diversity recognition program and developing a competency-based mentoring platform that continues to operate today.
