Yusra Abdelmeguid

She is a dedicated operations, outreach, and public service professional with experience across international development, research, and government. Currently serving as Executive Assistant to the Managing Director for Programs at the World Resources Institute, she supports executive operations and program coordination. She is also Co-Founder and Director of Community Outreach and Engagement at American Nubian Youth, a role she has held since 2018, where she leads community engagement and advocacy initiatives. Her earlier experience includes serving as an Operations Team Member at IOM UN Migration, a Project Associate at the American Institutes for Research, and a Research Assistant and Clerk with the U.S. House of Representatives, supporting the Oversight and Reforms Committee and the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis. Her career reflects a deep commitment to public service, community empowerment, and advancing equity through research and engagement.
