Yvette Gilkey Shuford

Experienced operations leader with more than 30 years of expertise in manufacturing, organizational leadership, and operational management across global corporations and nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as an Operations Manager at Amazon, where I focus on driving operational excellence, improving team performance, and implementing strategies that enhance efficiency, productivity, and safety within large-scale logistics operations.

Prior to Amazon, I served as Executive Director of the Alliance of Parents and Children for Educational Empowerment (APCEE), where I led strategic planning, organizational development, and program growth. In this role, I worked closely with the Board of Directors to guide the organization’s vision, secure funding opportunities, and build a strong team culture while ensuring compliance and sustainable program delivery.

Earlier in my career, I spent nearly two decades with Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama as Director of Operations/Production, overseeing complex assembly operations and leading large cross-functional teams to achieve high-quality manufacturing outcomes. Before that, I worked at Daimler Chrysler, where I managed large-scale production teams and implemented systems that improved operational performance and manufacturing efficiency.
