About Yvonne

She is a distinguished human resources executive with over three decades of experience leading strategic HR operations, organizational culture transformation, and talent management across major academic medical centers and universities. Currently serving as Vice President of Human Resources and Title IX Officer at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, she serves as CHRO and HR spokesperson for over 2,200 faculty, staff, and fellows, leading a 16-member team and managing a 7-figure annual budget. She reports to the College Dean and the Montefiore Medicine SVP & CHRO, and is a member of the Dean's Leadership Council and Core Team. She has navigated the college through post-merger integration into Montefiore, creating the "New Einstein Way" organizational culture, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, launching technology platforms including Banner HR and an upgraded HR website, and developing a Diversity & Inclusion Strategic Plan that trained over 2,400 faculty, staff, and trainees in cross-cultural and implicit bias training. Prior to this role, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Yeshiva University, where she built the first strategic HR organization for over 6,000 union and nonunion faculty and staff, and as Vice President for Human Resources at Pace University, where she led HR functions for a 3,000-employee workforce across six schools and campuses. She served as a member of the crisis management and disaster recovery team that defined the university's response to 9/11 and has been recognized with the Diversity Leadership Award and induction into the National Cooperative Education Hall of Fame. She holds an MBA in Executive Management and a BBA from Pace University's Lubin School of Business. She is recognized as a visionary, collaborative, and transformative leader who is deeply committed to advancing organizational excellence, equity, and inclusion in higher education and healthcare.
