About Yvonne
I started my career in the operations finance area of a semiconductor equipment manufacturing company, which gave me a solid understanding of how manufacturing works and profitability models across different parts of the world. I then moved into supply chain-related finance, learning how to navigate our global economy and the challenges of getting what you need for manufacturing. My journey continued into project management for large programs including ERP and IT implementations and M&A integrations, which taught me about the processes, systems, and tools required to run and change the business. I then worked specifically in our Applied Global Services segment, managing full P&L for a revenue-generating business located globally. After that, I led large integration programs in the U.S., Israel, and for our largest semiconductor systems group. I was then asked to move my family to Singapore, where I served as finance leadership for the head of global operations and supply chain for four years, responsible for manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and infrastructure investments with a global scope. In my current role leading internal audit, I focus on influencing outcomes, understanding key business issues, and partnering with the business to address risk. I also own enterprise risk management, looking at high-priority risks like cybersecurity and geopolitical challenges, and I administer the Sarbanes-Oxley program and control framework for the company. The board and executive leadership were looking for someone who understood the company, knew processes and tools, had relationships with leaders, and could help rebuild the audit function from a policing organization to a true partner and collaborator.
