Her Story
About Zaynab
Zaynab Bhatti is currently an incoming junior at Queen's College, where she is studying neuroscience, psychology, and philosophy as part of her pre-med track. Her goal is to pursue a career in adolescent medicine, motivated by her desire to address stigmas around seeking medical help in certain cultural and religious communities and to provide care tailored to young adults facing issues like peer pressure and social media influences. A first-generation student and the only daughter in her family pursuing an MD, Zaynab graduated from Francis Reworth High School and is a member of the Kessler Society, an honors society. She is also engaged in campus initiatives, such as registering a women's sports club to create comfortable spaces for female students and developing a pen pal system to combat loneliness among Muslim women students by fostering connections through letter writing.
