About Zhanna
Zhanna Alekseeva is a technology entrepreneur and product leader serving as CEO and Co-Founder of Fits You, where she is building a fit infrastructure for e-commerce and retail. She previously owned and operated a commercial photography studio in New York, producing over 40,000 digital assets annually for brands including Macy's and Calvin Klein. Earlier, she spent over a decade working at the intersection of entertainment, media, innovative technology, and immersive media, and held roles in fitness management at Equinox. She is an Executive MBA candidate at CUNY Baruch College Zicklin School of Business and holds a degree from the School of Fine Arts in Russia. Her career reflects multiple transitions, from graphic design and fitness to innovative technology and fashion retail, supported by her hunger for knowledge and a strong support system. She attributes her success to constantly learning, keeping moving, and giving back, and advises women entering the industry to be brave and seek mentorship.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My support system played a huge role in my success, along with my hunger for knowledge and experiencing and trying new things.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don't stop moving. Shut down all the noise and just do it. This is my third business.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be brave and pursue your goals. Mentorship is huge. Women are still considered a minority from the VC point of view, making it harder to receive investments.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Technology is evolving very fast. It doesn't scare me but you still have to pay attention to trends. We are a tech company catering to the fashion industry.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
An opportunity to constantly learn, keep moving, make the world a better place, and have an opportunity to give back.
