What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of personal drive and a structured approach to goal-setting. Every month, I set clear and achievable objectives that not only keep me focused in the short term but also build momentum toward the larger, long-term goals I establish each year. This process keeps me motivated and ensures that I am always progressing with purpose. Equally as important, I owe much of my growth to the incredible mentors I’ve had the privilege of meeting along the way. Their guidance, insights, and encouragement have shaped my perspective and strengthened my skills. I consider it an honor to learn from their experiences, and I continue to seek their advice whenever I face new challenges or opportunities.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received came from a podcast called On Purpose with Jay Shetty. In one episode, he introduced the idea of viewing your career in terms of seasons, rather than putting pressure on yourself to map out your entire life from the start. That perspective shifted the way I approached my professional journey. When I graduated from college, I felt overwhelmed by the weight of having to choose the “perfect” career path right away. Hearing this advice reminded me that it’s okay to explore, grow, and pivot—that each stage of my career doesn’t have to define the rest of it. Instead, every season is an opportunity to learn, gain experience, and discover what excites me most, ultimately guiding me toward the bigger picture over time.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to stay curious and open-minded, because every project, challenge, or connection has the potential to teach you something valuable. Be intentional about building your network—relationships are often just as important as skills when it comes to growth and career advancement. And most importantly, seek out mentors and learn from their journeys. The wisdom and guidance they offer can help you navigate challenges with confidence and open doors you may not have known were possible. Above all, don’t get discouraged if things don’t happen as quickly or as smoothly as you’d like. Every career has ups and downs, and setbacks are often stepping stones to something greater. Trust that each experience will move you closer to where you’re meant to be.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is breaking through the constant clutter of the digital landscape. This is especially true on social media, where the space feels more saturated than ever. Every day, countless trends, memes, and brand campaigns are competing for the same audience’s attention, making it increasingly difficult to truly stand out. The challenge isn’t just about visibility—it’s about finding meaningful ways to connect with people in a way that cuts through the noise.
