Her Interview

Ten minutes with Zoe

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the unwavering support of my family, friends, mentors, and the people who have believed in me throughout my journey. I also credit my own determination, resilience, and willingness to dream big. I often remind myself of how far I've come, knowing that my younger self could never have imagined where I am today. That combination of support, ambition, and perseverance continues to motivate me every day.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is to never give up. I was also encouraged not to wait for someone else to create opportunities for me, but instead to write my own stories and create my own work. That advice has shaped my career by reminding me to take initiative, remain persistent, and build the opportunities I want to pursue.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would encourage young women to never give up and to avoid comparing their journey to anyone else's. Every career path is unique, and success looks different for everyone. Stay focused on your own growth, trust your instincts, continue creating opportunities for yourself, and remember that persistence and authenticity will take you much further than comparison ever will.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The entertainment industry presents new challenges every day, whether it's unexpected production setbacks, scheduling changes, lost footage, or budget constraints. While those situations can be stressful, I view them as opportunities to think creatively and strengthen my problem-solving skills. I enjoy tackling challenges because they push me to adapt, remain resourceful, and find innovative solutions that ultimately make each project stronger.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Transparency and having fun are the values that matter most to me. I believe in being open, honest, and authentic with the people I work and collaborate with, and I value relationships built on trust and mutual respect. At the same time, I believe it's important to enjoy the process, embrace laughter, and remember that life is too short not to find joy—even during the most challenging moments.
