Zoe’s passion for impactful storytelling has made her a respected voice in local and national media, with her work featured on platforms such as NBC News.

A proud graduate of the University of Southern California, where she earned her Master’s in Specialized Journalism, and Xavier University of Louisiana, where she received her Bachelor’s in Mass Communication, Zoe brings both academic excellence and cultural awareness to her craft. Her diverse experience spans news production, radio hosting, television programming, videography, and digital strategy—skills that collectively strengthen her ability to connect with audiences and drive meaningful conversations across communities.

Beyond the newsroom, Zoe is an advocate for representation and inclusivity in media. As a proud HBCU alumna and member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, she actively champions mentorship, equity, and community engagement. What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my lifelong passion for storytelling and my deep interest in politics and healthcare, which first inspired my love for the media industry. As a news reporter and TV producer at KSHB 41, I take pride in curating and producing impactful stories—working overnight and early morning shifts to ensure each broadcast runs seamlessly alongside our reporters and meteorologists. Earning my master’s degree from the University of Southern California was a major milestone, and receiving the **Gracie Award for Radio Hosting in 2023** remains one of the proudest moments of my career.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to stand my ground. In this industry, confidence and conviction are essential—you have to trust your voice, your instincts, and the value you bring to every story.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are creativity, connection, and joy. I love expressing myself through fashion and helping friends find their own style. Outside of work, I enjoy movies, good food, and a great BBQ—moments that bring people together and remind me of the importance of balance and enjoying life.
