Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of dedication, consistent academic excellence, and active engagement in leadership and service opportunities. I graduated Magna Cum Laude and was honored on the Dean's List from 2016 through 2019. My commitment to lifelong learning led me to complete the Organizational Leadership program at Harvard Business School Online in 2022.

Throughout my academic journey, I sought opportunities to contribute and grow beyond the classroom. I was inducted into the Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society of the National Communication Association, served as Active Minds Chair, Junior Class Senator, and supported my peers as a Teaching Assistant and Writing Tutor. These experiences strengthened my leadership, communication, and mentoring skills, which I consider central to my personal and professional growth.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my mentor, Teresa Tarretero, Head of Sales at Kibu. She not only helped me secure my current position but also serves as an inspiring example of leadership in her field. Teresa demonstrates that it’s possible to excel at the highest level while providing guidance and perspective along the way. Her mentorship has shown me that with determination, expertise, and the right support, you can achieve your goals and truly “do it all.”

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to never be afraid to ask questions and stay curious. Leverage your resources, and recognize the power of building a supportive community—women are exceptional at creating networks that uplift one another. Know who to turn to for guidance, and don’t try to go it alone. Focus on building strong relationships and rapport; collaboration and connection are just as important as expertise in advancing your career.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The most important values to me in both my work and personal life are empathy, compassion, and authenticity. Even in the fast-paced world of sales, I strive to maintain a caring approach and embrace my feminine, collaborative side, which allows me to connect genuinely with others.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partners and our three-legged Golden Retriever-Husky mix and our 10-month-old puppy, whether hiking, exploring breweries, or upcycling items from thrifting adventures. I also value balance and joy, whether it’s enjoying a good show or pursuing meaningful hobbies.

Giving back is central to who I am. I volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House, contribute as a Research Analyst with EarthLinks, and support poverty alleviation efforts through Harvesters – The Community Food Network. These experiences reinforce my commitment to making a positive impact both professionally and personally.
