Betsy Hamm

Betsy Hamm is a seasoned growth strategist, business leader, and former CEO with extensive experience helping brands scale with clarity, structure, and purpose. Based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, she is the founder of Betsy Hamm Lifted Studio, where she partners with founders and executive teams as a strategic advisor and fractional executive. Her expertise spans growth strategy, brand development, strategic planning, leadership, operations, executive coaching, and marketing. Hamm’s career began in media before she spent more than 14 years with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, where she advanced through marketing leadership roles and helped drive major campaigns supporting tourism, entertainment, hospitality, and destination growth. In 2016, she joined Duck Donuts as its first marketing hire outside the founder’s immediate network. Over the following eight years, she progressed from marketing leader to Chief Operating Officer and ultimately Chief Executive Officer, helping scale the company from approximately 20 locations to nearly 200 across the United States and nine international markets by 2025. Today, Hamm combines her hands-on operating experience with a passion for developing leaders and strengthening growing organizations. Through her consulting work, she helps businesses align strategy, build scalable systems, improve accountability, and navigate the challenges that accompany growth. She is also the founder and host of Loud & Lifted, a podcast and community focused on women in leadership, and facilitates workshops, keynotes, and small-group Circles designed to foster meaningful connection and professional growth among women. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Central Penn College, reflecting her commitment to leadership development and community engagement.
