What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of curiosity, research-driven design, and the willingness to fully engage with every project. By blending creativity with structured problem-solving, I create designs that not only look good but deliver measurable results for clients.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I’ve received is to follow a strategy-first approach in design. Always focus on decisions grounded in research, usability, and conversion, rather than aesthetics alone.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
If there’s one piece of advice I return to—both for myself and others—it’s this: ship the work. Imposter syndrome doesn’t disappear through preparation; it dissolves through action. Great design lives at the intersection of creativity and usability, and it only matters once it’s in the world.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
There’s a lot of panic around AI. AI isn’t a threat—it’s a strategic advantage if you learn to guide it. The challenge now is not mastering AI itself, but mastering the partnership with it—learning to leverage its capabilities without losing the human judgment that makes design meaningful.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Creativity and community are inseparable for me. I value human-centered design, collaboration, and giving back, whether through mentoring, supporting artists, or donating a portion of profits to animal rescue. Outside of work, I express creativity as an oil painter, singer, and guitarist, and I cherish spending time in nature with my dogs.
