Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to leading with purpose, building meaningful relationships, and approaching challenges with both discipline and creativity. I invest in learning and growing, not only for myself but for the people and communities I serve. Mentorship, collaboration, and a deep commitment to equity have guided my work, and they continue to drive my results.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I’ve received from my mentors is to never let fear dictate my decisions—lean into the uncomfortable, because that’s where growth happens. They’ve reminded me to protect my integrity above all else, build a network before I need it, and to always lift others as I climb.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell women who look like me that you belong in every room you walk into—whether or not it was built for you. Speak up, even when your voice shakes. Build relationships with people who see your value, but also challenge you to grow. And remember, your authenticity is your power—never trade it for acceptance.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge I see in commercial real estate is the underrepresentation of women of color, particularly in leadership roles. To address this, the industry must create intentional pathways for advancement, mentorship opportunities, and inclusive cultures that support diverse leaders.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Professionally what matters to me most is leading with integrity, creating spaces where people can grow, and driving meaningful impact in the commercial real estate industry. I’m passionate about mentorship, advancing DEI initiatives, and building relationships that foster innovation and collaboration. On a personal level, I value authenticity, continuous growth, and family. Supporting and nurturing my loved ones, lifting others as I climb, and contributing to my community are all central to who I am.
