Her Interview

Ten minutes with Kristiana

01What do you attribute your success to?

Christ comes first in my life. He is my everything, and you will read more about that journey soon. I was raised in a Christ centered home and deeply rooted in music ministry from an early age. My faith has carried me through every season of life, including the heartbreaking loss of my sister, Theresa A. W. Rucker, and my brother, Edward Thomblin Moore, both of whom we lost far too soon in separate tragedies. Their lives, their faith, and the lessons they left behind continue to shape who I am today.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

“The best career advice I have ever received was simple: Do not chase money. Chase purpose. When you walk in the calling God has placed on your life, work becomes more than a paycheck. It becomes a mission. Success follows when you remain faithful, work hard, serve others, and stay true to your values.”

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

You can accomplish anything if it is truly your purpose in life. If this is your calling, nothing will stop you from pursuing it.

Listen more than you speak. Observe the world around you. Never stop learning, growing, and challenging yourself. Every experience, both good and bad, has something to teach you.

Most importantly, never give up on your journey. There will be obstacles, setbacks, and moments of doubt, but perseverance, faith, and determination will carry you further than talent alone ever could.

Stay true to who you are, trust the path God has placed before you, and keep moving forward.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is separating truth from noise. We live in a world of constant information, misinformation, artificial intelligence, edited content, and rapidly changing media platforms. It has become increasingly difficult for people to know what is real, who to trust, and where to find reliable information.

At the same time, this challenge creates one of the greatest opportunities. Writers, journalists, and content creators have the ability to provide honest, thoughtful, and meaningful content that helps people navigate an increasingly complex world. There is a growing demand for authenticity, transparency, and voices that are willing to have difficult conversations with integrity.

For me, the opportunity lies in using my platform to encourage critical thinking, inspire meaningful dialogue, and help bring people together through faith, truth, and understanding.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in my personal life are faith, resilience, and meaningful connection. My faith is the foundation of who I am, and I believe in the power of prayer to guide me through both good times and difficult seasons. I also value resilience and maintaining a positive mindset, even when life presents challenges, because I believe growth often comes through perseverance. Just as important are the relationships I have with trusted friends and loved ones who provide emotional and spiritual support. Having people I can lean on, pray with, and share life’s journey with helps keep me grounded and reminds me that I’m never alone.
