My journey into Trichology & Menopause

My journey into trichology and menopause health coaching did not begin as a career decision — it began as a personal reckoning.

Experiencing premature menopause reshaped my life in ways I never anticipated, affecting my physical health, emotional well-being, and hormonal balance.

One of the most distressing changes was severe hair shedding, which led me to lose nearly 50% of my hair. What first felt like a deeply isolating experience became the spark that pushed me to seek answers, knowledge, and ultimately, purpose.

That search led me into the study of trichology. I wanted to understand the science behind hair and scalp health, and why hormonal shifts could so dramatically alter a woman’s hair. As I immersed myself in this field, I began to see the bigger picture: hair loss during perimenopause and menopause is rarely just about hair. It is often the visible expression of deeper imbalances involving hormones, stress, nutrition, the nervous system, and emotional health. This understanding inspired me to further my education and become a menopause health coach, allowing me to support women through this transition in a way that is informed, compassionate, and holistic.

My professional path, however, was shaped as much by transition as by intention. When I relocated from Dubai to the United States, I was required to step away from my work as a freelance trichologist. Starting over in a new country meant navigating uncertainty, identity shifts, and the emotional weight that often accompanies reinvention. The first two years in the U.S. became a period of deep adjustment — both personally and professionally.

Rather than stepping away from my purpose, I chose to redefine it. During this time, I focused on building an online business, creating a platform that allowed me to remain connected to my work while adapting to a new environment and rhythm of life. This digital space became not only a professional bridge, but also a place of growth, creativity, and resilience.

Today, my work is informed by both education and lived experience. I understand transition not only as a biological process, but as a deeply human one — marked by change, loss, adaptation, and renewal. My mission is to empower women with knowledge, clarity, and compassionate support as they navigate menopause, hair changes, and midlife, helping them reconnect with their bodies, their confidence, and their sense of self.
