5 Pages Your Website Needs to Get Recommended by AI

My Client Asked ChatGPT Who She Should Hire.

ChatGPT Recommended Her.

She Made $2K From That One Mention.

And She Had No Idea It Was Happening.

She wasn't trying to get recommended by AI.

She wasn't optimizing for it.

She wasn't even thinking about it.

But her website had the right pages, structured the right way.

And ChatGPT noticed.

60% of people now use AI to search for services.

And if your website isn't structured for AI, you may be invisible to them.

Google at least indexes your website over time. AI search works differently. If your pages aren't clear, organized, and well-structured, AI tools may not understand your expertise or recommend you.

Here's what I've learned from getting eight clients recommended by ChatGPT in the last three months:

AI needs specific pages structured in a specific way.

And most people don't have them.

Page 1: Dedicated Service Pages (The Foundation)

This is non-negotiable.

You need one page per service—not one page listing everything you do.

Why?

Because AI needs clarity.

When ChatGPT searches your site for "who provides [specific service]," it needs to find a page that focuses specifically on that service.

One of my clients had a single page trying to cover everything:

  • Coaching
  • Consulting
  • Workshops
  • Group programs

AI was confused.

Google was confused.

Her ideal clients were confused.

We separated those into five individual service pages.

Each page focused on one specific offer.

Now, when someone asks ChatGPT for the top expert in her city, her page has a better chance of appearing.

What each service page needs:

  • H1 with your service and target audience
  • Clear explanation of what you do (without unnecessary filler)
  • Who it's for (be specific)
  • What the transformation looks like
  • FAQ section specific to that service
  • Internal links to your other services

These pages aren't competing against each other.

They're strengthening each other.

Page 2: Reviews and Testimonials (The Trust Signal)

AI doesn't recommend you simply because you exist.

It recommends you because there are signals that demonstrate credibility.

Those signals include:

  • Google reviews
  • Testimonials
  • Case studies
  • Client results

AI pulls from all of these.

One of my clients had incredible testimonials, but they were sitting in a document somewhere.

Not on her website.

So AI had no way to recognize them.

We created a dedicated testimonials page with:

  • Client names
  • Specific results
  • Full reviews
  • Industry or niche information

Within three weeks, ChatGPT began incorporating her testimonials into responses.

People would see those testimonials in AI-generated answers and click through to book.

That's the power of organized social proof.

Page 3: Location Pages (The Local AI Strategy)

This is the one almost nobody talks about.

People are searching for local services through AI tools now.

Examples:

"Best career coach near me"

"Therapist in Austin"

"Resume writer in Miami"

If you don't have location-specific pages, you may miss those searches.

I had a client who only listed her city on her Contact page.

That wasn't enough.

We created dedicated location pages for three cities where she was already receiving organic traffic.

Each location page included:

  • Her service
  • Location-specific details (local landmarks, neighborhoods, and relevant information)
  • Testimonials from clients in that area
  • FAQs specific to that location

Now, when someone asks ChatGPT, "Who is the best business coach in [her city]?" my client's website has the opportunity to appear.

ChatGPT can specifically reference her Dallas page.

She's based in Nebraska but is attracting visibility in Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio.

All from location pages optimized for AI search.

Multi-location SEO can work for AI search too.

Page 4: About Page (The Credibility Builder)

Your About page isn't just about you.

It's about why someone should trust you.

AI looks for credibility signals, including:

  • Your experience
  • Your credentials
  • Your journey
  • Why you do what you do
  • The results you've created

I had a client whose About page said:

"Hi, I'm Jessica."

Then it included one paragraph about her 20 years of experience.

We rewrote it to include:

  • Her specific industry experience
  • Certifications
  • The problem she recognized that inspired her business
  • Client results
  • Her personal story and why she cares

Now, when AI recommends her, it can pull meaningful credibility information from her About page.

People see information like:

"20-year veteran coach with 200+ clients."

That builds trust.

Page 5: FAQ Page (The Answer Machine)

This is my favorite because it works incredibly well.

AI is designed to answer questions.

When someone asks ChatGPT something, it looks for websites with clear, relevant answers.

If your FAQ page addresses the questions people are already asking, AI can better understand your expertise.

One client had questions she received constantly on discovery calls:

  • "How long does coaching take?"
  • "What is your pricing range?"
  • "Do you work with beginners?"
  • "What if I've worked with other coaches?"

She added those questions to her FAQ page with clear, specific answers.

Now, when someone asks ChatGPT those same questions, her FAQ content can be used as part of the response.

People read her answers.

They gain confidence.

They book.

This page has generated more leads than her service pages combined because it answers questions before people ever schedule a call.

How to Structure These Pages for AI

AI reads websites differently than humans do.

It needs:

  • Clear headers (H1, H2, H3)
  • Specific keywords
  • Direct answers
  • Organized information
  • Internal links between pages

It doesn't care about:

  • Fancy design
  • Complex animations
  • Stock photos
  • Long introductions

Write for clarity.

Write for AI.

Humans will follow.

Check If You Have All Five Pages:

✅ Dedicated service pages (one per service)

✅ Reviews/testimonials page

✅ Location pages (if you serve multiple areas)

✅ About page with credibility signals

✅ FAQ page answering real customer questions

Missing any of these?

You may be leaving opportunities on the table.

I'll spend 20 minutes reviewing your site and identify the one page that could make the biggest difference.

P.S.

My client who received thousands of AI mentions had all five pages optimized.

It wasn't a coincidence.

It was a strategy.

And when implemented correctly, it can make a meaningful difference.
