Chapter 3: The Fire Inside (Page 2)
How a Simple Notebook Became the Catalyst for Transforming My Life
Chapter 3: The Fire Inside (Page 2)
It started with a simple notebook. One night, after work, I walked into a dollar store and bought the cheapest journal I could find. Its cover was plain, nothing special, but to me, it felt like a door to something bigger.
That night, I sat on my bed and wrote three words at the top of the first page:
“What I Want.”
For so long, I had been living in survival mode—working, sending money, repeating the cycle. But writing those words felt like breathing life back into my soul. I didn’t want to just survive anymore. I wanted more. I wanted freedom. I wanted to create something of my own, something no one could take away from me.
So I wrote it all down. I wrote about the house I dreamed of owning—not just any house—a home filled with light and laughter, where people felt safe and cared for. I wrote about starting a business, about helping others, about creating a life where I didn’t have to choose between work and happiness.
The more I wrote, the clearer it became: my life wasn’t going to change by accident. I had to make it happen.
That notebook became my secret weapon. Every day, I wrote something in it—a goal, an affirmation, a reminder that my story wasn’t over. And slowly, my mindset shifted. I started to see opportunities where before I saw only walls.
I didn’t know how I would do it yet, but deep in my bones, I knew this:
I wasn’t just dreaming. I was preparing.
And that changed everything.
