The night I decided to take the leap, I couldn’t sleep. The glow from my phone lit up the dark room as I stared at a page I had bookmarked: “How to Start a Healthcare Staffing Agency.” I didn’t even know where to begin. All I knew was this—I was done living small.
I thought about my mom—her tired hands, her prayers whispered late at night. I thought about the people I cared for, how they deserved dignity and compassion, and how broken the system felt at times.
That’s when it hit me:
I’m not just going to work for someone else forever. I’m going to build something that helps people and changes lives.
So I whispered into the quiet:
“I’m starting my own company.”

“Elvie’s Traveling Angels — Coming Soon.”
