Do hard things!
How I Completed 12 Races in 2026 and Discovered My True Strength
PROUD. ACCOMPLISHED.
At the start of the year, I set a goal: complete one 5K every month in 2026—for a total of 12 races. My bigger objective was to get more active, spend more time in the gym, and build the endurance needed to finish every race I signed up for.
Yesterday, ahead of schedule, I crossed the finish line of my 12th race—and it was a 10K!
- ✅ 9 5Ks
- ✅ 3 10Ks
- ✅ 12 races completed in 2026
And yes, I'm pretty damn proud of myself.
This journey taught me that I can do hard things. That I'm capable of pushing beyond the limits I set for myself. That I'm even more driven than I realized. And that I actually enjoy having a challenge to chase.
It also taught me one more thing...
I still don't like running. 😆
But I like what it proves to me: that growth happens when you do things that aren't easy.
So today, I'm celebrating this accomplishment and the commitment it took to get here.
Cheers to me. 🥂 💪🏃♀️ #Proud #GoalAchieved #PersonalGrowth #5K #10K #DoHardThings
