Everywhere you look, love is being celebrated.

February arrives wrapped in hearts, flowers, and promises of romance.

But if you are considering divorce, in the middle of it, or recently divorced, February can feel incredibly heavy.

Instead of feeling like “love is in the air,” you may feel:

Lonely—even when surrounded by people

Uncertain about what your future holds

Afraid that happiness, connection, or love may never return

And if that’s you, please know this: there is nothing wrong with you.

Divorce has a way of shaking the foundation of how we see ourselves, our worth, and what love even means anymore—especially after decades of marriage. The loss isn’t just of a relationship; it’s the loss of shared dreams, traditions, and a future you once imagined.

February can amplify grief.

It can stir up doubts.

It can make you question whether love is something meant for you again.

But here’s the truth I want you to hold onto:

Love doesn’t disappear because a marriage ends.

It transforms.

This season may not be about romantic love—and that’s okay.

February can become a time to:

Reconnect with yourself

Practice self-compassion

Redefine what love looks like in your Second Act

Love can mean peace.

Love can mean clarity.

Love can mean choosing yourself—without guilt.

If February feels hard this year, let it be gentle. Let it be honest. Let it be a month where healing begins—not through grand gestures, but through small, brave steps forward.

You are not broken.

You are becoming.

And love—real, healthy, fulfilling love—still has room for you.

Your Second Act is still being written.
