From Hospitality Executive to Entrepreneur: Leading Boldly & Building with Purpose

Success, to me, has never been about perfection. It has been about perseverance, adaptability, and having the courage to lead even during uncertain seasons. Throughout my career in hospitality, business development, and entrepreneurship, I learned early on that relationships are one of the most valuable forms of currency. How you treat people, how you show up under pressure, and how consistently you operate with integrity will always matter.

One of the most powerful pieces of advice I have ever received was: “Don’t make yourself small when you were meant to lead.” That mindset transformed the way I approached both business and life. As women, we are often conditioned to second-guess ourselves, shrink our voices, or wait for permission to take up space. I eventually realized that leadership is not about waiting to feel ready; it is about trusting your vision and walking confidently in your purpose.

Today, as the Founder of Meet Global Group LLC, I focus on building strategic partnerships within hospitality, travel, entertainment, and community-centered initiatives. My work is deeply rooted in authenticity, innovation, and creating experiences that bring people together while also opening doors for others.

I also believe one of the greatest opportunities right now is the ability for women- and minority-owned businesses to build brands independently through digital platforms and meaningful connections. We no longer have to wait for traditional gatekeepers to validate our value. We can create our own lanes, build our own tables, and lead with intention.

To young women entering this industry, my advice is simple: stay consistent, protect your integrity, and never underestimate the power of your voice. There will be moments when you feel overlooked or underestimated, but do not allow that to define your confidence. Continue learning, continue evolving, and continue showing up boldly.

At the core of everything I do are the values of integrity, resilience, authenticity, and compassion. Success means very little if you are not uplifting others along the way. I want my legacy to reflect not only professional accomplishments, but also impact—creating opportunities, inspiring women to lead unapologetically, and reminding others that resilience can become power when paired with purpose.
