From Pain to Purpose: How Lupus Didn’t Stop My Calling

Finding Purpose and Faith While Living with Lupus

For years, I have lived with lupus-an autoimmune disease that can affect every aspect of a person's life. There have been days when the pain was overwhelming, days when fatigue made even the simplest tasks difficult, and days when I questioned how I would continue moving forward. Yet through every challenge, I discovered something powerful: purpose is not canceled by pain.

Living with lupus has taught me lessons that no classroom, book, or seminar could ever teach. It taught me resilience. It taught me patience. Most importantly, it taught me to depend on God in ways I never imagined.

There were seasons when my health forced me to slow down, but God never allowed me to stop. While battling physical challenges, I continued pursuing my education, serving in ministry, raising my family, and answering the call He placed on my life. Every obstacle became an opportunity to trust Him more.
