From Survival to Legacy……the journey continues
From Survival to Purpose: Building a Legacy of Empowerment and Healing
My life didn’t start from a place of ease—it started in survival mode. Becoming a teen mother, enduring domestic violence, and later facing the unimaginable loss of my 20-year-old son shaped me in ways I never asked for. For a long time, I was just trying to make it through each day.
But somewhere along the way, survival turned into purpose.
I began to see that my pain wasn’t just something I went through—it was something I could grow through. I chose to rebuild, not just for myself, but for others who felt unseen, unheard, and stuck in cycles that seemed impossible to break. I leaned into my strength, my voice, and my experiences to create something meaningful.
Today, I am no longer just surviving—I am building a legacy: a legacy rooted in empowerment, advocacy, and restoration. A legacy that reaches women transitioning from incarceration, individuals battling grief, and communities in need of real, systemic change.
My story didn’t end with trauma—it evolved into purpose. And now, everything I do is about leaving footprints that others can follow toward healing, stability, and hope.
