The Woman Behind the Mission

I laced up my cleats at age four and never really stopped running. My mom would say, “I pushed you out quickly, and you never stopped from there.” Competitive soccer taught me early what it means to show up fully—for myself, my team(s), and the mission in front of me.

Those lessons carried me through a Division I scholarship at the University of San Diego, through 15+ years in sales and leadership in business and healthcare, and now into entrepreneurship, where I have built and scaled multiple companies to six, seven, and eight figures across multiple states. But the greatest shift in my journey wasn’t a milestone or a new market expansion—it was the moment I fully surrendered my career and businesses to God’s leading.

Like many women in high-achieving spaces, I’ve walked through adversity both personally and professionally. Things like industry cuts that put the majority of companies out of business, infertility, chronic inflammation, and debilitating brain fog. Many days I didn’t know how I could juggle it all or get through another day, yet God showed me otherwise.

Building With Intention

Today, I don’t just run businesses—I build them with intention. One of the most practical leadership strategies I’ve adopted is building a solid network of four pillars around me:

  • A Sponsor who can influence, open doors, and advocate for you—someone who, more importantly, protects your name and speaks it, especially when you aren’t in the room.
  • A Mentor who is a visionary ahead of you and whose example you can learn from.
  • A Coach who pushes you, holds you accountable, and helps sharpen your skills.
  • A Patron who you can invest in, mentor, and help grow.

This framework has been instrumental in scaling businesses and being invited into partnerships and opportunities with experienced professionals who see my value and expertise, while protecting my time and energy. Three non-negotiable leadership practices I hold are: leading by example and following through on your word; “if you’re on time, you’re late, and if you’re late, you’re wasting someone’s valuable time”; and mastering your “why.”

Profit and Purpose Are Not Opposites

As a follower of Jesus Christ, growing His Church and advancing the Gospel is my top priority. This conviction recently led to my appointment as a board member of Mike Silva International, whose mission is “pursuing global evangelism, one life transformation at a time.” This belief shapes how I lead every team and serve every patient.

Whether mentoring youth in life and business aspirations or building high-performing medical practices, I approach leadership as ministry. Profit and purpose are not opposites. When aligned with God’s heart, they multiply impact and create lasting value.

Athletic Principles for Life and Leadership

My years as a youth athlete and at higher levels of competition instilled principles I apply daily in both leadership and life: discipline and time management, commitment when it’s hard, leading by example instead of demanding it, overcoming adversity with resilience, and celebrating wins—both big and small—with gratitude.

These aren’t just athletic lessons; they are life and leadership lessons that have helped me navigate entrepreneurship, board service, and the beautiful chaos of building a faith-centered legacy.

You Were Created to Thrive in Both

To every woman reading this who feels the tension between ambition and faith, between career demands and personal healing: you don’t have to choose. You were created to thrive in both.

Start where you are. Build your four pillars. Master your “why.” Lead with integrity and generosity. And remember—the same God who sees the one sees you.

Whether you’re in sales, healthcare, entrepreneurship, or any field, your story matters. Your scars can become someone else’s healing, and your obedience can transform lives.

I’m still running this race—now in heels and suits more than cleats and jerseys—but the mission remains the same: show up fully, serve wholeheartedly, and trust God with the outcome.

God bless,

Jennifer
