Just Hold On and Don't Give Up
Your worth transcends your bank account—keep faith while your finances catch up.
One thing I've learned along this journey is that your worth is not determined by your bank account. Just as you have to grow, so does your bank account. Sometimes, you have to give it time to catch up!
There will be seasons when you're earning more than you ever imagined and seasons when you're not earning anywhere near what you know you're worth. Neither season defines who you are or what you're capable of becoming.
Think about everything you've invested in yourself: your gifts, talents, education, research, sacrifices, trials and errors, and yes, even those lessons you had to learn the hard way. None of that loses its value just because your finances haven't caught up.
Don't mistake a financially difficult season for a failed purpose.
Sometimes, we're so busy measuring our progress against someone else's highlight reel that we forget how far we've come in our own real lives.
Just hold on! Keep the faith. Believe in what God has for you. Reassess when necessary, make adjustments, charge what you're worth, and have the courage to change what's not working. Just don't give up on yourself in the process.
I've had seasons of abundance and seasons when I've had to remind myself why I started. Through it all, I've learned that my purpose will always be bigger than my paycheck, and my value doesn't decrease when my income does.
So, to the woman wondering whether all her hard work will ever pay off, give yourself grace, give your dreams room to grow, and give your bank account a little time to catch up!
Just hold on, and don't give up. KEEP MOVING FORWARD!
Authentically Grateful, DeAnna Brown
