Healing from Betrayal: Reclaiming Your Light and Breaking Free from Psychological Loops
SPIRITUAL WARFARE
We are all human, and we have made mistakes in our lives, some more critical than others. So, how do we navigate the process of being a survivor of intense psychological and spiritual warfare?
What is psychological and spiritual warfare? How can we overcome the trauma or psychological problems that torture us day and night? In some cases, how do we deal with events or situations that trigger us instantly and, unfortunately, with our inability to control our reactions?
I guarantee 💯 that thousands of women tend to enter those deep, foggy states of mind where we replay the scenario a million times over, trying to find the pieces to put them together, wondering where it all went downhill, or trying to find the missing puzzle pieces that are nowhere to be found...and never will be.
These psychological repetition loops tend to intensify over time. As women-not all women, but those who have been affected by such betrayal-we unfortunately repeat the scenario that has impacted us so negatively that we lose sight of reality. In the case of my beloved mom, she was stuck in that same scenario for decades, when she could have moved forward and invested her time in her life in a better way.
But I don't blame her. Back in the 1970s, mental health was not as well understood as it is today. Back in those days, if you talked about depression, anxiety, or emotional problems, you could be institutionalized immediately. So, for women in the 1970s, it was difficult to find help and, in some cases, almost impossible.
When my mother found out that the two people who were close to her-her youngest sister and her husband-had betrayed her in such a malicious and deliberate way, it immediately destroyed her identity, self-value, self-esteem, and psychological ability to see a future ahead, as if her life had ended in total, complete silence.
Among sisters, regardless of whether you're the oldest, middle, or youngest, there is a bond, a respectful barrier, and a fine line regarding when not to cross boundaries, disrespect, or degrade the value of yourself, your sister, or even your entire family.
Your self-worth is high-sometimes above the highest bars-but when that high bar is dismantled, a sister may tend to use the "cry wolf" approach, sometimes relying on the desperation of being emotionally dependent and asking a man to be her hero. There is nothing more bitter yet pleasurable for a man, especially for some men, than to feel like he is her "HERO." And that becomes the most critical stab in the back when someone takes those initial baby steps toward initiating an affair with someone else's husband or partner.
In these situations involving cruel affairs or betrayal by the other partner, 💯 the victim can fall into total, deep darkness-a sense of darkness so profound that the victim feels there is no hope and no way out, as if life as we know it has been ripped from our hearts or souls.
One sees nothing but a void, as if you deeply rely on your partner for oxygen to move forward. But unfortunately, you're on your own to heal from your wounds, and without the proper resources or help, as in the case of my beloved mom, one can feel helpless.
So, I say this: Wake up, ladies! That's just what these demonic people want you to endure-to devour your light, your sense of security, and your strength. By standing your ground and putting your boundaries on the line, you protect yourself. These malicious people will do anything to take your light, your energy, and your life, even if only temporarily, so these demonic people can enjoy and take the deepest possible advantage for their own gain, fortune, and, most of all, power over you.
