My Journey in Logistics, Leadership, & Living the Dash

With more than seven years of experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry, I have built my career on a foundation of operational excellence, adaptability, and deep client relationships. Today, as a Global Accounts Manager with SC Logistic Solutions and Allstates WorldCargo, I specialize in navigating the complexities of international trade. My day-to-day work focuses on managing import/export logistics, air and ocean freight, and domestic transportation, as well as building resilient supply chain strategies that help my clients navigate an ever-changing global market.

Progressing from my early days in air export operations to managing global accounts has taught me that logistics is about far more than moving cargo. It requires strategic planning, proactive communication, and continuous learning. Over the years, I have continuously sought professional development opportunities, including specialized training, to ensure I can provide the highest standards of security and efficiency in our operations.

When I look back at my journey and consider what I attribute my success to, it ultimately comes down to a choice. I attribute my success to my mindset and the belief that my past experiences do not define me. We all face challenges, but I believe that true professional and personal growth comes from how we choose to move forward.

This philosophy directly ties into my personal motto: "Live The Dash."

To me, life is about making the most of the time between our birth and death, embracing each moment, and continuing to learn something new every day. Living with this sense of purpose drives me not just in my career but also in how I show up for others.

Because of this, I make it a priority to give back by mentoring others entering the logistics industry and helping them connect with supportive professional networks. In my community, I am also incredibly passionate about supporting local families, including contributing to an annual children's Christmas drive in the Grand Rapids area.
