✨ Newsletter Edition: The Voice of Women ✨ Your Journey Is Just Beginning – By Eva Nika
Finding Your Voice Again
There was a time when my voice was loud.
I was a journalist.
I wrote stories.
I spoke on television.
People listened.
Then I moved to the United States.
And suddenly… my voice became quiet.
Not because I had nothing to say.
But because I didn’t yet have the words in English to say it.
And I know I am not the only woman who has felt this.
When a Woman Loses Her Voice
Many women lose their voice not because they are weak —
but because life becomes louder than them.
Motherhood.
Immigration.
Marriage.
Career survival.
Cultural expectations.
Fear of judgment.
Sometimes we silence ourselves to protect our dreams.
Sometimes we silence ourselves to survive.
I remember taking the Q train from Brooklyn to Manhattan, sitting quietly, reading books, rebuilding myself in silence. No one on that train knew that back home I had a voice that carried across a nation.
But here? I was starting from zero.
And still — even in silence — my voice was growing.
Your Voice Does Not Disappear. It Evolves.
The world often teaches women to:
- Speak softly.
- Don’t be too ambitious.
- Don’t be too emotional.
- Don’t be too strong.
- Don’t be too loud.
But I learned something powerful:
A woman’s voice is not about volume.
It’s about truth.
Today, as a leader managing large teams, mentoring women, and developing my film “Unbreakable Eva,” I speak differently than I did years ago. But my voice is stronger now — because it is grounded in experience, pain, sacrifice, and growth.
Finding Your Voice Again
If you feel unheard right now, I want to tell you:
Your voice is still there.
It may be tired.
It may be healing.
It may be learning a new language.
It may be rebuilding confidence.
But it is there.
And when a woman reconnects with her voice — she becomes unstoppable.
Not because she shouts.
But because she no longer apologizes for existing.
A Message to Every Woman Reading This
You don’t need permission to speak.
You don’t need perfection to be heard.
You don’t need a title to have value.
Your story matters.
Your experience matters.
Your silence even matters — because one day it will turn into strength.
I lost my voice once.
But I found it again.
And when I did — I promised myself I would never use it to compete with other women.
Only to lift them.
✨ The world changes when women stop whispering and start believing.
With strength and gratitude,
Eva Nika
